How to Source from Puyuan: A Buyer's Checklist
From first RFQ to pre-shipment inspection — a practical, step-by-step checklist for buying knitwear from the Puyuan cluster.

1. Define your programme before you search
Write down the season, category, gauge, fibre, target FOB and compliance needs before contacting suppliers. A precise RFQ gets answered faster and more accurately than a vague 'send me your catalogue'.
2. Verify, then verify again
Use the supplier's verification level as your first filter, then ask for the documents behind it: business licence, export records, certificates, and photos or video of the actual production floor. On-site audits are the gold standard for a reason.
3. Sample smart, not just once
Plan two sample rounds: one to test yarn and hand-feel, one to approve fit and trims. Agree in writing who pays for samples and courier, and keep colour standards against a physical lab-dip.
4. Lock price, MOQ and lead time in the RFQ reply
A professional supplier reply should quote per-style MOQ, FOB by quantity band, sample timing, bulk lead time and payment terms. Compare replies side by side — this is exactly the workflow Puyuan Fashions structures for you.
5. QC before shipment
Use pre-shipment inspection with an agreed AQL level, and check wash-care labelling, fibre content and packaging against your brief. Keep one sealed reference sample for dispute resolution.
